Outgoing Packages

First:
For prompt service with outgoing packages, log into https://www.usmlogistics.org/xcelerator/clientportal with your secured login provided by U.S. Messenger (see details below for obtaining authorized access). This will give you access to U.S. Messenger's online notification system to schedule an internal pickup and also provide the option to schedule outside courier deliveries with U.S. Messenger.

Please note that you must notify the Messenger Center when you have an outgoing package so that the staff will have it staged and ready for pickup prior to the arrival of your chosen vendor.

You may notify the Messenger Center by calling 312-202-3804 or by using the U.S. Messenger online ordering/notification system (wwww.usmlogistics.org/online). 
If you call the messenger center for pickup notification:
 
  • What company within the property to pick up from
  • Location within suite to retrieve package
  • Which courier company is coming to pick up the package
  • The size and approximate weight of the package

Note: As an optional service, U.S. Messenger can deliver your package to its final destination without making two phone calls or placing a second online order.


Then:
After notifying the Messenger Center that your package is ready for pickup, contact your preferred courier company or other servicing vendor to place your order. Notifying the messenger center first, allows the team to retrieve your package before your vendor gets to the property - package will be ready upon arrival of your courier company.

Note: if you use U.S. Messenger as your courier company, there is no need to notify the Messenger Center - The U.S. Messenger online notification system will take care of these notifications automatically.



Incoming Packages
 
Your incoming packages will arrive at the Messenger Center. The U.S. Messenger staff will accept your package and deliver it to your suite. Packages weighing 25 lbs and under will be delivered within 15 minutes; packages over 25 lbs will delivered to your suite in under 30 minutes.

The U.S. Messenger staff will notify your office if a large parcel or parcels arrive, (pallets of material or other large deliveries) ensuring that it is a convenient time for your office to accept such a delivery. You have the option of scheduling a better time (during that business day 7am -6pm) to have your parcels delivered to your suite.

Quick Notes:
  • The Messenger Center will deliver all of your Fed Ex, UPS and other Express Parcels. They can also retrieve those parcels for staging for pickup by those vendors as well - expediting the process for both you and the vendor.
  • All of your deliveries that are under 200 lbs will be delivered to your suite upon their arrival at the property. The U.S. Messenger staff will call you about larger parcels to coordinate a good time for you to receive the larger material.
  • Vendors delivering food and other materials that require special handling or on site inventory, will be escorted by the U.S. Messenger staff to your suite. This is also the case in delivering high dollar items or items that require unique equipment for proper handling.
  • Working with the U.S. Messenger online notification system is the most efficient way to get your package(s) to their final destination.

If you would like to use the U.S. Messenger online notification system (https://www.usmlogistics.org/xcelerator/clientportal) to schedule your delivery, just use your custom login and password to access the system and place your order (see details below for obtaining authorized access). If you choose to use U.S. Messenger to deliver your package to the final destination then both the outside messenger service and internal messenger center pick up notification will be completed in that single process.
